The Discovery Program is a guided introductory learning experience where you can explore STEPS Pathways College, meet the team, and get a real feel for our unique approach to achieving independence and creating a brighter future for you.
About the Discovery Program
The STEPS Pathways College Discovery Program runs one day a week over ten weeks. It’s designed to help you feel confident and informed when considering our Day College, and your support people are welcome to join you
- You will be part of a small group where you can:
- Tour the College campus in Caloundra
- Meet our experienced trainers and support team
- Try out activities from our life skills curriculum
- Explore our 10 Key Areas of Learning
- Ask questions in an open environment
- Connect with others walking a similar path

This is the first and only College of its kind in Australia for young people with a disability and autism.
We combine practical life skills, personal development, and social connection in a supportive environment where you set your own goals, and we help you pursue them.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the Discovery Program?
The Discovery Program runs one day a week for 10-12 weeks, held on campus at STEPS Pathways College in Caloundra.
Is there a cost to attend?
Funding is available under the NDIS, so there are no out-of-pocket costs. A fee-for-service arrangement is also available.
What happens after the Discovery Program?
There are no obligations or pressure, but we’d love to talk to you about a future at the Day College.
